The UK’s coronavirus death toll has risen by 786, according to new figures released by the Department of Health and Social Care.

213,181 people have been tested of which 55,242 tested positive.

Meanwhile, in New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at least 5,489 people across the state have died from coronavirus — that’s up from 4,758 yesterday

“That is the largest single-day increase,” he said.

There are 138,836 total cases in the state.
