March 30, 2019 10:25 am

One person had been discharged since the last update on Friday.

Aside from Alen, the other three patients who family members say are critically injured include a man shot in a motel car park as the gunman fled the Al Noor mosque, a woman who may require a wheelchair for the rest of her life, and a Turkish man shot in the chest.

A CDHB spokeswoman said of the 19 patients in Christchurch, 17 were still in Christchurch Hospital, three of whom remained in a critical condition in intensive care. Two patients were being treated at Burwood Hospital in Christchurch.
