Weightlifting Fiji will hold a special trial on Saturday to scout for young lifters for the upcoming IWF Junior World Championships in Suva next month.

Secretary Ritesh Ratiram says they’re looking for new lifters between the ages of 16 to 19 to train for the 2019 World Championships and also its new Youth age category for ages 13 to 16.

Ratiram says this is a good chance for our youngsters to showcase their talents and take up the sport of weightlifting.
