With less than a month remaining for the World Cup, Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber says the players will need to get back into rhythm quickly.
Baber says after a gruesome competition during the last leg of the series and the Commonwealth Games the players took a much needed break before re-grouping for another most awaited competition of 7s rugby.
“The boys will be going through some tough training this week. We need to get back on track quickly. I’m happy the boys are back and now we have limited time to prepare and we will have to do a lot of determination and sacrifices.”
Meanwhile, France-based players Josua Tuisova, Leone Nakarawa and Semi Radradra will join camp next week while Semi Kunatani have joined camp already.
The Rugby 7s World Cup will be held from the 21st to the 23rd of next month in San Francisco, USA.
