Fiji will host the 2019 Beach Volleyball Continental Cup in December this year.

Fiji Volleyball Federation President Liga Gukisuva says a committee from the Oceania Volleyball will be in the country later this week or early next week to hold talks about Fiji hosting the tournament.

Gukisuva says the committee will be holding discussions in terms of what’s required of Fiji as hosts of the tournament.

He says during the meeting they will be talking about the logistics of the tournament.

“That’s one of the reasons why we are calling for the meeting early. With the new board members to also be introduced, to understand their expectations and the requirements to host such a tournament. We are quite fortunate that we have a very supporting Oceania Committee that will be coming over to assist us in implement this event.”

Gukisuva says Fiji will have two men’s and two women’s teams taking part in the tournament.
