Verevou's fate to be decided today

The Rewa football side will find out tonight if youngster Iosefo Verevou can play for them in the Courts Inter District Championships.

Verevou, was suspended from all levels of football for three years after found guilty of breaking camp while with the Fiji Under-20 side in May.

Rewa had appealed this and asked for arbitration, to clear the former Fiji Under-17 rep, who has been included in Rewa’s final IDC squad.

The arbitration takes place at 5.30pm in Suva.

The IDC tournament starts on Saturday, with Labasa playing Suva at Subrail Park at 2pm, while on the same day, Rewa plays Nadroga at 4pm in Nadi.

Also on Saturday, Nadi plays newcomers Tailevu Naitasiri at 6pm at home and on Sunday, Lautoka meets Ba at Churchill Park at 3pm.
