Veremalua scores double in final loss

A late flurry by Tabadamu could not help them win the Central Coast 7s final, losing to Aussie Thunderbolts 31-21 in Australia yesterday.

The Setefano Cakau-led side could only manage three converted tries, with national rep, Jasa Veremalua scoring a try in each half.

Tabadamu beat Wellington 7-5 in the Cup semifinals.

The Australian women’s side beat New Zealand Development in the final 31-14.

Yamacia took out the Plate title after beating Hong Kong 47-12 in the final.

Telecom Fijiana thumped Sydney Rams 41-7 to win the Women’s Plate title.
