Two athletes have been selected to hand in their applications for the Olympics scholarships.

National Coach, Sharon Smith says Meli Malani and Caroline Puamau have met the national standards.

“We have put in applications because they have met a few times set by Fina for scholarship and so that’s a great achievement for Fiji swimming and in the pacific as well.”

Smith says they have selected the young ones for better exposure and experience as well.

The Common wealth Games will kick start on the 23rd of this month and ends on the 3rd of August.
