The Flying Fijians Test against England will be nothing short of an experiment as the local players and the Europe based players will take the field without a warm-up match.
Team manager Aseri Rokoura says the coaches will not have a chance to see how the players together.
Rokoura says the team also wants to avoid further injuries.
We haven’t had any warm up match to see how the boys will respond to each other especially with some of our local boys and some our UK players. That remains a challenge and we really need a warm up match. However we will not take any risk of injury.
The only Europe based player to yet to join the team is Jovilisi Domolailai, who is facing visa problems.
The team had its first outdoor training today.
Fiji faces England at 3.30am this Sunday.
