Tavua upsets Nadi

The Tavua Football side made their first win in its Vodafone Premier League after upsetting Nadi 1-0 this afternoon at Garvey Park.

Vilitati Kautoga scored Tavua’s lone goal in the last few seconds of the game.

Vice President Rajneel Ram says they are proud of their players for winning in front of their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Totori scored two goals for the Lautoka side to help them defeated Suva 2-1 in the Vodafone Premier League match this afternoon at Churchill Park.

The Capital side led 1-nil at half time with the score from defender Remeuru Takiata.

However, the Blues regrouped in the second spell to come from behind and beat the Capital side.
