The Tailevu Schools Athletics Association will be fielding more schools in this year’s Chow Divisional Games.
Manager Paiata Savukiono says the schools in their divisions have been preparing well and they are overwhelmed at the commitment shown by the teams.
Savukiono adds they will be fielding seven schools compared to the two schools that competed last year.
“At the moment we have so much good talents that within that we can show during our chow games in the next weeks to come.”
Meanwhile, FMF Foods Limited is sponsoring this year’s games to a tune of $17,000, which will continue for the next two years.
The Divisional Games will begin this week with the Northern games on this Friday and Saturday.
The Western division will hold their tournament on the 14th and 15th of next month, and the Central will be on the 21st and the 22nd.
