The inclusion of Penioni Tagituimua of the Nadera Panthers to the Vodafone Fiji Bati Squad will be an advantage to the side.

These are the words of Bati Coach, Brandon Costin who says Tagituimua was an instrumental player in their game against the Tonga residents last month and this has earned him a spot.

The 20-year-old will be departing Fiji today to join the Fiji Bati team in Australia.

“We bought Penioni in because basically he was the player of the series basically against Tonga.”

Costin says Tagituimua is a role model for Fijians.

“He’s 20 years old,  he is very fast, he’s very disciplined and he’s very committed, he wants to learn so he’s very coachable, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to succeed,  he’s the perfect role model  of what we want from our local players.”

The Vodafone Fiji Bati will take on Lebanon next Saturday at 9.49am in Sydney Australia.
