Nadi and Suva played to a 1-all draw at the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament underway at Labasa’s Subrail Park.
Former Suva striker, Rusiate Matererega scored first for the Jetsetters in the 39th minute of the second spell.
Just when it looked like the Jetsetters had secured three points, Sairusi Naulubu grabbed the equalizer in the 1st minute of injury time.
Suva coach, Tuka Tisam was not impressed with the draw, but says a point is better than none.
”It wasn’t the result we came for but the last minute goal was the savior. We have one more match tomorrow and that will be very important. Now we will go back and will have to be prepared for the match against Rakiraki.”
The draw puts Nadi on four points while Suva has a point.
Labasa that plays Rakiraki next has three points while the latter is yet to register a point.
Labasa takes on Rakiraki at 4pm while in the last match of the day, Lautoka plays Rewa at 6pm.
