Major sponsors Vodafone Fiji will host the champion Fiji Under-20 footballers to a function this morning.
Fiji created history on Saturday by becoming the first ever Fijian team to qualify for a football World Cup.
The players and officials will be hosted by the sponsors and added to that is the $50,000 bonus already announced by the Fiji Football Association.
Meanwhile, midfielder, Naren Rao Junior, says being a senior player this year, he needed to step up.
“Last year I was there with big names like Rusiate (Materereqa) and Qase (Napolioni Qasevakatini). But this year I was alone and no one was beside me and I was playing with experience and I thank God that he was with me during this tournament and I did well.”
Fiji will play at the 2015 Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand in May next year.
