South Africa 7s playmaker Branco du Preez is determined to put in a strong showing at the Cape Town tournament this weekend.

After only playing in four tournaments last season and missing out on Olympic Games selection the new season started well for Du Preez and the Blitzboks as they won last week’s Dubai opener.

The elusive runner is now looking forward to a good performance on home soil.
Another big contributor last weekend, Chris Dry, is again keen to produce the goods.

Dry made the most tackles in the tournament in Dubai and want to contribute in any way possible

The forward, who will be playing in his 54th tournament says it is important for the team to start at base zero again.
