Soccer reaches out to kids

The development of soccer has increased and has reached a wider stage in the country.

Fiji primary schools IDC general secretary narendra rao says all praises should go out to the young talents who displayed great soccer skills and most especially their coaches.

”I believe that a lot of development is taking place with our small kids involving the sport and we should give credits to their talents. We must also thank the coaches for their tireless effort in instilling good soccer skills and understanding of the game in this kids"

He adds after this tournament they hope to identify the boys for future prospects and that Fiji FA will look into a sytem that can mould these kids.

Games will end today beginning with the U14 semis at 8:30am followed by the U12 finals between defending champs Ba and Rewa.

At 2pm will see the U14 finals played at Tavua primary schools ground.
