The Suva football team believes that signing Nadi import Napolioni Qasevakatini just before the Courts Inter District tournament was a great move.

Qasevakatini scored the winner for Suva against Nadi last night to help the Whites win the IDC crown.

Suva coach Gurjeet Singh says that Qasevakatini’s inclusion boosted his side.

“I’m really proud of him. I knew if he comes in, joins Suva, he will start scoring goals and if you see his performance this year, he hasn’t scored many goals for Nadi but he just joined us for this IDC tournament and within this tournament he scored three goals.”

Meanwhile, the Suva Football Association will be holding a meeting later today to decide on its celebrations.
