The Fiji Secondary School’s Basketball Under-19 girls defending champions Suva Grammar School has booked a place in the semi-final of the competition.
This was after Grammar defeated Gospel High School 20- 10 in the quarter final at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva today.
Team Coach, Navitalai Naivalu says despite not having much time to prepare, they managed to pull through to appear in the top four.
“Well we are just moving up slowly trying to improve on how we play each spot every year and most likely if we get to win then it’s a bonus for us but we are just here to do our best."
Navalu adds, 90 percent of the players featured in their netball team who won the Fiji Secondary School netball competition in Lautoka over the weekend.
Yat Sen Secondary School had also advanced to the semis after defeated St Joseph’s Secondary School 15-14.
