The New Zealand 7s side is bracing for a tough encounter against the Fiji Airways men’s 7s in the Cup quarterfinal of the Vancouver tournament tomorrow.

Captain Tim Mikkelson says they will need to keep the ball and avoid giving away penalties to the Fijian side.
“We got to execute the ball. There’s been a lot of upset this weekend in Vancouver. Everyone has been playing awesome and we got to start well and get hold to the ball and hold on to it until we score.”
Fiji takes on New Zealand in the second quarterfinal at 6.30 tomorrow morning.
