Pacific Games Rugby 7s will be played at a new venue and not at Apia Park.

The Pacific Games Office, World Rugby and Samoa Rugby Union have announced Rugby 7s competition venue has now been relocated to Marist St Joseph’s Sports Stadium in Lotopa, Apia.

The wet conditions and high surface traffic at Apia Park have contributed to the decision to move the venue.

Apia Park Stadium has been used this past week for the Opening Ceremony and Rugby League 9s competition.

The Stadium is scheduled to host Athletics next week.

Due to the change of venue, the competition schedule has been revised to commence at 8am tomorrow and Saturday.
