The Fiji Airways 7s side will face a mammoth task in its Singapore Cup quarter-final match against New Zealand this afternoon.
With play-maker Jerry Tuwai being ruled out of the tournament due to injury, the Fijian side will have to put in extra effort to keep their hope of defending the title alive.
Fiji suffered two consecutive loss from Scotland and South Africa in its pool match yesterday.
Barring any upset in Fiji’s cup quarter-final match, they are likely to meet Australia or England in Semi-final.
Meanwhile, Fiji takes on New Zealand in the third quarter-final match at 4.14pm.
