The Fiji 7s side is back at training as they prepare for the upcoming London 7s.

Majority of the players who were part of the campaign in Hong Kong and Singapore were present today.

Coach Gareth Baber says the race for the final 14 spots for the last two tournaments in the World Series is getting interesting.

“There’s potential for it, but there’s a slight difference as the tournament is slightly early this year as all our staff in Europe still hasn’t finished. As there are other complications as well as we have the World Cup 15s this year. So another conversation with the likes of John Mckee and couple of other players and I’m not going to put any pressure on anybody and that’s obviously down to my thinking.”

He says it’s unlikely he will get some Europe based players for London and Paris as he did last year.

The London 7s will run through May 25th to the 27th.
