Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber says he wants consistency from players as they prepare for the next world 7s leg.
Baber says he is looking for continuity in the squad, making sure they are going to be as competitive as they can.
“I’m looking for things in there to take the players far away from that. Continuity is the most fact in producing performance and the majority we play is similar in the style we’ve done so far to get success.”
Baber adds working on finer points is what they need to do in Las Vegas and Vancouver.
He is expected to name the final 13-member squad tomorrow for the Las Vegas tournament.
Fiji faces Scotland in its opening match at 11.22am next Saturday, and will then battle Wales at 2.23pm before meeting Australia at 7.52am next Sunday in its last pool match.
