50 yellow cards have been issued on the first two days of the Fiji Bitter Wairiki Parish 7s tournament currently underway in Taveuni.

This has tournament organizers and officials deeply concerned.

Organiser Jone Vuki says this is not good and does not paint a very good picture for rugby 7s on the island.

The most common offence is high tackle and Vuki has reminded players to lower their tackles.

He has pleaded with team coaches and management to educate their players of the rules to avoid further issuance of the yellow card.

Meanwhile, the Wairiki 7s final will be held tomorrow.
