The dates and venues for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants semi-finals will be confirmed today.

Labasa will play Rewa in the first semi-final while Lautoka takes on neighbors Nadi in the second semi-final.

Labasa beat Nadi 1-nil to top Group A with nine points while Nadi finished second with four points.

Babasiga Lions coach, Gurjit Singh knows, they can’t underestimate the Delta Tigers in the last four.

“It will be very tough. If you see Rewa, they play very good soccer. Once it comes to the semi-finals the games become tough. All the teams will be tough now. We can’t say much when it comes to the semi-finals.”

Nadi’s Technical Advisor, Yogendra Dutt says, they will go to the drawing boards and see what they need to work on before the clash against Lautoka.

“We will go back and have a few days of training and then we will decide on how to go about the semi-finals. It’s knockout from here and we will have to prepare for that stage now.”

Lautoka topped Group B with seven points and coach, Kamal Swamy, will be up against his former team in the last four.

“It will be a tough match. I’ve coached Nadi for five years before moving to Lautoka. I know them well and they know very well of how I work. It will be a tough match and the best team will win.”

In matches played yesterday, Rewa beat Dreketi 4-2, Lautoka edged Ba 1-nil while Suva and Rakiraki played to a 1-all draw.

The confirmations for the semi-final dates and venues can be expected at around mid-day.
