Surprise side, Cuvu College leads Pool Two while Ba Sangam and SVC are ahead in Pool Four.

Fiji Secondary Schools secretary, Bimlesh Kumar says Day One has caught the interest of national selectors.

“Day One games have been competitive and the scorelines are not so big and at themoment no teeam has qualified for the quarterfinals. It is good to see the national coaching director and selectors here looking to scout players for the Under 20 players.”

This afternoon’s results saw Central College overpower Naleba 5-nil, Tavua College beat Cathedral 1-nil, SVC defeated Baulevu 1-nil while Savusavu and Tilak drew 1-all.

The Only Under 15 match today saw Tavua College draw 3-all with Labasa Sangam.
