Primary schools netball is in need of financial support.

That is the word from the Fiji Primary Schools Netball Association as the final day of the kaji competition gets underway today.

Association President, Susana Liga says the competition faces a bleak future if they do not find goodwill partners to support the young netters.

“We are struggling to get a major sponsor for primary netball and I am urging those companies out there; this is where netball starts. This is where we can get a better position in the world cup, in the grassroots level so invest in us.”

The quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals of the Kaji Netball competition will begin at 8:30am today at the National Netball Centre as well as the LICI Multipurpose Courts in Suva.
