Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan is expected to name his 19-member squad this afternoon to prepare for the next leg of the IRB World Sevens Series in Dubai and South Africa next month.
Nine players will be retained from the Gold Coast winning squad last month as well as three from the squad that claimed the Oceania 7s in Noosa.
Ryan will also select several players that stood out during the Bayleys Coral Coast 7s in Sigatoka over the weekend.
The squad will march into camp on Wednesday at Uprising Resort in Pacific Harbor.
Lanky forward Sitiveni Waqa is expected to miss the cut having signed a contract to play in Sri Lanka.
The final 12-member squad will be named next week.
Fiji is pooled with Argentina, France and Brazil in the Dubai 7s which will be held on December 5th-6th.
