The Fiji 7’s team has left for the Olympic Games with high hopes.

Coach Ben Ryan says he understands what the Rio Olympics mean to fans at home and their support will drive the team.

“I know the nations going to stop. There is not going to be much work done when the games begin. I am grateful to their support. Cheer loudly. We might not physically be able to hear you from the TV’s in Fiji from Brazil but we know you are there and it gets the boys off the ground and helps them make another tackle and you’ll be in the tunnel when we run on for our first game.”
