Fijian winger and former All Blacks 7s star Salesi Rayasi has extended his contract with the Wellington Super Rugby franchise and New Zealand Rugby until the end of 2021.

Rayasi and Asafo Aumua are expected to play key roles for the Hurricanes this season.

Rayasi was called into the Hurricanes squad after his breakout season for Auckland last year, with his side going onto taking out the Mitre Cup Premiership competition against Canterbury in the final.
