The Flying Fijians were hosted by the Fiji High Commissionin collaboration with Tourism Fiji in London to a Talanoa session.

The session included Tourism industry stakeholders and they also had the opportunity to meet members of the Fijian community in UK.

The team was by welcomed by Fiji’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Mr Jitoko Tikolevu.

Tourism Fiji Regional Manager UK and Europe, Jane West congratulated the Team for great efforts at the Rugby World Cup in Japan.

She also expressed Tourism Fiji’s gratitude for providing an opportunity for the Flying Fijians to meet with the Tourism stakeholders in UK and Europe.

West believes Sports Tourism remains a unique and instrumental niche in destination promotion, and the opportunity for the Flying Fijians as Sports Ambassadors to meet with the tourism industry stakeholders, in sharing the Bula Spirit, is indeed a momentous opportunity.

She also spoke on the recent initiatives being developed to promote the development of Fiji’s Tourism Industry.
