Waisake Naholo’s younger brother Kini is the notable inclusion in the Chiefs side along with Pita Gus Sowakula.

The youngster joins Hoskins Sotutu, and former national under 20 prop Alex Hodgeman in the Blues.

Tevita Kuridrani’s cousin, Chris, Tevita Nabura and All Blacks 7s rep Jona Nareki are part of the Highlanders squad.

Former Flying Fijians skipper Kele Leawere’s son Isaiah Walker and Salesi Rayasi is in the Hurricanes side.

The Crusaders have three players in the likes of All Blacks star Sevu Reece, George Bower and Manasa Mataele.

The 2020 Super Rugby season starts on the 31st of January with the Blues hosting Chiefs at Eden Park in Auckland while later the same evening the Brumbies will play the Reds in Canberra.
