Former Fiji Bati star Jarryd Hayne has been spotted training with Sydney rugby club Eastwood.
Hayne’s sporting career remains in limbo after he was charged with aggravated sexual assault last November.
The Daily Telegraph has revealed that Hayne recently took part in one of Shute Shield club Eastwood’s training runs.
Hayne was not contracted with an NRL club when charged by police after Parramatta failed to offer the veteran a new deal.
He had also been linked with a possible switch to St George Illawarra but his chances of ever playing in the NRL again now appear remote.
Meanwhile, Hayne is allegedly reported to have sexually assaulted a 26-year-old woman in her Hunter Valley home on the night of the 2018 NRL grand-final last September.
The case has been adjourned until April 3rd, with Hayne entering a not guilty plea.
