Roy Krishna has done it again for his Wellington Phoenix side as he scored a goal to help his team beat second place Newcastle Jets 3-2.

Phoenix striked first in the 27th minute of play from a long range shot by Matija Ljujic’.

Daniel Mullen then scored with a header from a corner in the 36th minute in the first spell.

Fijian born Krishna then sealed off the match with a goal in the 58th minute of play in the second half.

The Jets will retain second spot on 33 points. Phoenix move to 14 but remain in last spot.
