The Fiji Regional Academy under 17 side held the Rewa Youth under 18 team to a 1-all draw yesterday.

The under 17 team has been in camp for five months now preparing for the Oceania play-offs next year.

Coach Shalen Lal is impressed with the result but says he did pick up areas where improvements are needed.

“We have got arrears to work on. We were able to rectify the problems with the coaching panel. I think we will be concentrating on those areas before we play other build up matches.”

The side resumes training today to prepare for their next match in the Youth League.

They are also expected to play friendly matches against the Premier District teams.
