Rakiraki football fans wants to watch their team in their home ground

The Rakiraki football side wants to play its last four games in the Vodafone Premier League this season at the FSC Grounds in Rakiraki.

Team President, Shaneel Gounder says, the fans of Rakiraki have been deprived of watching their team and they want to change that.

Yes, we want to play the remaining four matches at home. I have spoken with the Fiji FA Chief Executive and he is trying to help us get the grounds ready. We are working on the grounds so that it is up to par with the regulations of Fiji football.

Rakiraki hosts Rewa at 2pm on Sunday at a venue yet to be confirmed.

In other matches this week, Nadi plays Labasa at 7pm on Friday at Prince Charles Park while at the same time Lautoka will be playing Dreketi at Churchill Park.

In a lone match on Saturday, Ba hosts Suva at Govind Park at 3pm.

Three matches will be played on Sunday. Nadi takes on Dreketi at 3pm at Prince Charles Park while at the same time, Lautoka battles Labasa at Churchill Park.
