The Raka 7s tournament is currently underway at the ANZ Stadium in Suva as 80 team’s battle against each other in both men and women’s category.

In the men’s division, top local teams are making their mark in the tournament after the first round of the competition with no major upsets in the tournament.

Army Green managed by Aisea Katonibau defeated Marist 19-5, favorites First Light Taveuni beat Jerry Tuwai’s New Town Rugby 22-15, Police White thrashing Vomo 31-0 and Ratu Filise beating Dravo 17-10.

The pool games will be played today until 9.00pm in the evening before the finals take place tomorrow.
