The Raiwaqa team is hoping for a good outing in the Bula FM Marist volleyball tournament this weekend.

They side has never won any major tournament, but have developed national reps in their club.

Team Captain Jiuta Vateitei says, he has a young side that can deliver on the game day.

“We expecting at this Marist tournament other teams will come prepared so we won’t take any teams lightly so we’ll take a game at a time and we hoping that we’ll come away with a win we’ve come close during the inter club and then we fell short but we have re grouped and we’ll just hope for the best”

Thirty two teams in mens category have confirmed their participation in the tournament that will be held at the Vodafone Arena on Friday and Saturday.
