Rabo leads Suva against home team

Suva football captain Pita Rabo will lead his adopted team against his home side Rewa in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants semi-final tomorrow.

All Freight Logistics Suva plays Rewa in the first semi-final at 3pm, followed by Ba battling Lautoka at 5pm at the ANZ Stadium in the capital.

Rabo, who hail from Kuku Village in Nausori, has been a pillar of strength for the young Whites outfit.

He says the passion is still burning in his 37-year-old legs and he is enjoying his time with Suva.

“Well that’s something I will be honest is that playing alongside these young kids to try and guide and motivate them throughout the whole season I think for me as a senior player, it think makes me proud of being part of this young squad so I am really proud of that.”

The final will be played on Sunday at 3pm, before which the third place play-off takes place at 1pm.
