The Queen Victoria School was crowned the new champion in the Under-17 grade after beating Lelean Memorial School 9-8 in the final.

QVS led 6-nil in the first half by a drop goal and a penalty kick.

LMS Josaia Taufa scored the opening try in the second spell to narrow the score margin 6-5.

Flyhalf Rupeni Gera then kicked a penalty for LMS to put them into the lead 8-6.

Semi Tauyauca was the hero for QVS kicking the winning penalty to seal the match.

Meanwhile, the Under-19 final is currently underway between RKS and LMS and in the Under-18 final at 4.40pm at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
