The Nadi Football side will be fielding Napolioni Qasevakatini and Beniamino Mateinaqara at the Courts Inter-District Championships this week.

The Duo were former reps of the Jet Set team until last year, when Qasevakatini joined Suva and Mateinaqara went to Papua New Guinea to join Hekari United.

President, Navneeda Goundar says the new inclusions have boosted the morale of the players, at the same time they are not underestimating any teams.

“We can’t say that we’ll win the tournament but we’ll try our best to do good work in the field. I think the players should know the importance of the game and if they stick to the plan of their coaches, i think we will do wonders in the game.”

Nadi will host Lautoka at 4pm on Sunday at the Prince Charles Park while Ba takes on Nadroga at 2pm.

A day before that, Labasa plays Rewa at Subrail Park at 3pm while at 1pm Suva takes on Dreketi at the same venue.
