Proper planning led to victory: Coach

The Dreketi football side is celebrating its inclusion in the Premier division of local football after a nil-all draw against Nasinu on the weekend.

Team coach, Johan Leewai says they had this planned from a long time but it took some courage to execute it.

“It was a long process. It was a plan of about four months with the players. When we bought Henry Dyer, Kushal Naicker and Mahen lal from Labasa, they were sort of the core of the team with the experienced boys who were already with the team. So we planned it properly. We knew what we were going to do in each game at a time till this last game against Nasinu. We knew what we had to do to achieve the goal we had in mind.”
