Speaking to FBC Sports from Wellington, Phoenix assistant coach, Chris Greenacre, says they have included the big names in the side, as the people of Fiji deserved it.

“We haven’t finalized ourselves what we will do. But the senior players will be involved in all the games. It will be great for people of Fiji to come and watch them. We know we have fantastic support in Fiji and it’s great for us to have an opportunity to give something back to them. As I say it was important that we bring over a very strong squad and was really important to everybody and we look forward to it.”

The first game is on Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva at 5.30pm, before which the Phoenix Premier side plays the national Under-23 team at 2.30pm.

The return matches will be played on Tuesday week at Govind Park in Ba.
