The much talked about, eight team, Super Premier National Football League will happen but in the next season.

Fiji Football will continue with the 10 team format this season.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel says the two bottom placed teams will be automatically relegated.

The new format also allows districts equal share of gate-takings despite the venue.

All games will be double headers as well.

The new league season starts on December 15th.
