Navua soccer president, Gopal Naidu says his team’s lack of fitness was their downfall against Suva at Churchill Park this afternoon.

It’s Navua’s second Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants loss this year – they lost 1-3 to Lautoka in the BOG opener at Subrail Park last Sunday.

“Our problem was lack of fitness because we did not train this week due to bad weather. This is a new team, we were just unlucky and hopefully we come out stronger against Nadi.”

Naidu adds they had a handful of chances to score but could not find the goalmouth and they hope to do better against Nadi on Friday night.
