The Navua football side is the first team to book its place in the Courts Inter District Championship senior division final tomorrow.

Navua beat Tailevu Naitasiri 2-1 in the extra time of the first semifinal at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Vatuwaqa.

Tailevu Naitasiri’s Meli Nagusudrau scored the opening goal in the 6th minute of play while Netani Doli equalized for Navua in the 45th minute.

Monit Chand scored the winning goal in the first spell of the extra time.

Meanwhile, the second semi-final match between defending champions Nadroga and Lami is underway.

In the premier division semifinals, Lautoka plays Nadi at 4.30pm while Labasa meets Suva at 7pm.
