The Nausori Bulldogs Rugby League club has been revived after a lapse of sixteen years.

The club which was formed in 1992 was active until 2005 as they faced financial constraints to keep it running.

Head Coach Apimeleki Katonibau says they will use the nines tournament as a preparation towards the Vodafone Cup.

“This is going to be the first time am not expecting much from them as I’ve said it’s for them to have a field especially due to the age group so the players being the oldest is 26 and then the youngest around 16 who will be cautious but we will try to put them into the learning”.

Katonibau is calling on interested players to join the club as they only have 30 registered players in both the junior and senior grades.
