Namatakula village awaits World Cup final

The Namatakula villagers of Nadroga are eager to watch one of their sons Tevita Kuridrani don the golden jersey in representing the Wallabies team in the 2015 Rugby World Cup final, this week.

Speaking to FBC Sports yesterday, proud mother, Dr. Litiana Kuridani who is a lecturer at the University of Fiji, says that’s Tevita’s achievement does not only bring joy but unity within the family.

The Wallabies centre is the second son of the village after his cousin Lote Tuqiri to play in a World Cup final.

Dr. Kuridrani says the villagers are already planning for a feast and a place set up to watch the much anticipated rugby play-off.

Australia will take on New Zealand at 5am on Sunday.

Argentina will meet South Africa in the 3rd place play off at 8am on Saturday.
