The Nadi football team are the new winners of the Pillay’s Garments Champion versus Champion Series after holding the Suva side 1-all in the second leg today.

Nadi took out the series on a aggregate of 2-1 as the Jet setters had won the first match 1-nil.

Ben Aminio put the Jet setters in in front after converting a penalty kick in the second half but Nickel Chand equalized for the whites late in the match.

This is Nadi’s first CVC victory.

They received $5000 for the win.
