Nadi out to get first win aginst Tavua

The Nadi football side hopes to get its first win over Tavua when they meet in the Vodafone Premier League on Sunday.

The Jet-setters have not beaten its opponent since last year when Tavua got promoted to the Premier Division.

The Babz Khan coached Nadi side was held to a nil all draw by them in their first meet during the Inter District Championship last year, then they lost to Tavua by 2-1 in the Fiji FACT this season and Nadi again fell shot in the VPL match where they lost by a goal.

The Green machine sits in fourth place with 15 points while Tavua is in seventh position with eight points.

Nadi takes on Tavua at 3pm at Prince Charles Park on Sunday.

In the matches on Saturday, two matches will be played at 3pm, Suva faces Lautoka at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori and Ba meets Rewa at Govind Park.
